Hello, I’m Isabella Littleford, a seasoned fashion expert with a profound enthusiasm for uncovering the magic where luxury meets everyday style.
With over a decade immersed in the fashion industry, I’ve had the amazing opportunity of honing my craft in Paris, the capital of couture and working alongside top-tier global designers. This journey has shaped my eye for luxury-level detail, forward-thinking design, and pieces that last. Golden Goose sneakers have long caught my attention, a brand that perfectly combines a distressed, lived-in vibe with refined construction and premium materials. Here, I’ll walk you through my thoughts on different Superstar models, highlighting their aesthetics, practicality, and adaptability.
Whether you’re a die-hard sneaker collector or simply looking to inject a bit of chic into your wardrobe, I’m here to help you understand the appeal with knowledge gained through a decade in the field. Let’s dive into why Golden Goose sneakers deserve a spot in your lineup!
A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (you might remember seeing them in a recent post), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! I’ve also worn them enough now that I can confidently speak to their craftsmanship, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll see me go more into detail about.
So I’m answering a bunch of popular FAQs, as well as where to score deals on them, just ahead! Also, if you’re looking for more of my recent reviews, have a scroll through my Abercrombie vs. Agolde jean shorts review, Goyard St. Louis GM Tote review, and Dudley Stephens fleece review!
Where can I find a pair like yours?
I ordered mine from Cettire when they had a solid deal going on.
Placed my order on April 28th and they were at my door by the 30th, goose shoes so the shipping was super fast which was a major plus
What’s the cost?
I snagged a pair for $385.43, though they usually go for around $513.91.
You can expect to pay between $410 and seventeen hundred depending on their uniqueness.
How is the fit?
I’d say they fit true to size, based on my pair.
They haven’t stretched at all, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up a size
Is the comfort worth it?
Honestly, they feel great, and only took a few hours to break in..
How durable are they?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. The laces are intact, and the shape stayed solid. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They have a hidden arch lift that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is unique. And the shine on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Are they worth it?
Yes! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re not cheap, so getting them discounted is smarter. They’re worth the investment, especially if you find a style that suits you. I went bold with sparkle, but a neutral version would also go with everything.

Where could someone find a pair like yours?
I ordered mine from Cettire when they had a limited-time deal going on.
Placed my order on April 28th and they were at my door by April 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast .
How expensive are they?
When I bought my pair in spring, I paid $385.43, but their regular price is over $500.
These sneakers typically cost anywhere between $400 to nearly $1,700, depending on how customized they are.
Do they fit as expected?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a EU 36. Since they don’t stretch and half sizes aren’t available, I’d choose the larger option.
Are they comfortable?
Very comfy, and only took a few hours to break in.
Do they hold up well?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. No glitter has fallen off, and the shape stayed solid.
Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
